The AgeTech Collaborative™ from AARP®, works to build a community of startups, enterprises, investors, testbeds, and business services to help make aging easier for everyone. In this spirit, they showcased some of the startups helping to build community both physically and virtually.

Of the Five Startups Who Show Their Love by Building Community, LOOP was noted as a startup combatting the isolation and loneliness that older adults and caregivers face. “LOOP is an online platform dedicated to creating an exciting ‘virtual village’ where older adults can attend online classes, enjoy concerts, start an exercise routine, or even just share a meal. Emotional and mental wellbeing are just as important as physical health, and the companionship older adults can get through LOOP is a valuable tool in the fight against loneliness.”
